No fake reviews
We do not buy, invent, or display fabricated multi-user star ratings. Editor notes are labeled as editorial — not “4.9★ from 12,000 users.”
Labeled money
Paid placements and first-party network apps use Starter / Featured / Spotlight badges. They do not rewrite organic match scores on comparison tables.
Price honesty
Each baseline price is Estimated or Verified. Always confirm on the vendor site before you buy or cancel.
Free-first when it fits
When a free alternative covers the job, we surface it clearly — that is the product promise of CheaperThan.

How ranking works
Full detail on Methodology. Short version:
- Match score (editorial 0–100) for typical workflows
- Price — free and lower cost rise when match is close
- Savings — monthly/yearly vs the paid baseline (directional)
